The ProCure2020 (P2020) team has moved across from the Department of Health and Social Care to NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) Estates division to finalise and deliver the fourth generation procurement framework P2020.
Feedback received suggested that moving the framework closer to the NHS will help improve engagement and take-up from suppliers, and ultimately benefit NHS customers. P2020 is designed to be a preferred procurement route for the design and construction of buildings across the health and social care sector.
The current framework ProCure22 (P22) will remain live and available to NHS clients until P2020 goes live. Further updates on the progress of P2020 will be provided soon.
